Moe and education seem to be in perfect harmony. Ever since the advent of Moetan, numerous other educational featuring ultra-kawaii characters aimed at fun-loving otaku have sprung into existence. Notable examples include Moe Economics, Kabu de Ikou! (stock trading), and Tsundere Linux. DarkMirage has also written a guide to beginner Japanese grammar that incorporate moe with language learning. It may be not too far-reaching to say that Moe is the chocolate of education: it makes even the most boring subject interesting just like the way chocolate makes any specimen of failed attempts at patry making a decent treat.
So, I present a half-baked fruit of my random creative energy and my boredom: a preview of Moeru Kakuritsu “Moekaku,” (Budding Probability “Moekaku”) basically an attempt to write notes on probability thoery stuffed with moe. The current version is four pages long, and consists of a short introduction and a list of definitions of sets and functions. The target audiences are college students who are familiar with calculus and algebra. Nagato Yuki, our favourite humanoid interface, will serve as your personal tutor.
I’ll continue writing the notes until the point I can say that it has become useful as a review material for myself, and will post updates here in this blog. Suggestions are welcome, especially on the readability of the notes. (You see. Nagato’s language, as you might recall from Ep.4 of MoSH, can get really technical.)
Lol. The good old days of basic probability.
LAWL
Congrats, you just overloaded my brains.
Crap! If only this was here last year when were being tested on probability
Nice, now I know about surjections and bijections.
Hi My Name Is ivaeki.
That’s nice! I appreciate it.
BTW, I have found a comic about Fourier Series while I searched the net: This is Amazon.co.jp link; and it uses its original character, (I think.) I have not read it yet, since I don’t know Japanese.
